Or, change the running direction of the sequence with up to 48 different playback directions. Additionally, the Groove Bend function allows you to change the trigger timing in real-time using the onboard slider. Another advanced feature, Time Warp, allows you to capture ideas in a track or a performance without the stress of practicing and recording multiple takes.
The SQUID offers control over 16 tracks with each track hosting 64 patterns. Each pattern can be up to 64 steps with eight-note polyphony per step. It’s easy to create pattern variations on the fly with the Pioneer DJ Toraiz SQUID Multitrack Sequencer controlling your rig. Once you have a basic pattern created, use the Interpolation function to generate a variation of that pattern based on your current settings. It looks at the pitch, gate, and velocity values for the beginning, middle, and end steps of your sequence. It will then automatically fill in the steps in between those steps, generating a new pattern that melds perfectly with the pattern you started from.
