German Light Products’ KNV Dot brings a whole new dynamic to entertainment lighting with it’s 30-watt white LED pixel encircled by 16 RGB LEDs. Groundbreaking in both design and functionality, the KNV system comes in four variants, the KNV Dot, KNV Cube, KNV Arc and KNV Line, which work as independent units or combine seamlessly together, all in IP54 outdoor rated housing. These multi functional fixtures are equally happy being used as pixel mapped surfaces, strobes, blinders, washlights, and more, all without ever thermalling out or reducing output level at full. The KNV Dot is both compact and lightweight featuring its singular pixel source containing a super bright white LED encircled by 16 RGBW LEDs. This fixture has full color mixing capability and a powerful output for a smaller point source. Each can also be pixel mapped for fluid integration with other visual elements, including the X4 atom. Using a 3×3 configuration, the KNV Dot matches the size of the KNV Cube. With incredible output for its small, physical size, each KNV Dot is capable of producing more than 2,200 lumens and is perfect to hang in locations where multiple units are required for greater coverage, but without breaking the bank. The KNV Dot is powered from an external power supply reducing the size and weight and increasing their ability to be placed in the tiniest, tucked away locations. Daisy chain using ODS 6-pin cables that carry both power and data, up to the maximum pixel count of 25 pixels with any combination of KNV Dot or KNV Line on each power supply unit. Able to be hung individually, or combined together through a fast quick locking system to create larger shapes and forms, the KNV system from GLP is a new mighty powerhouse. A full range of PWM settings ensure flicker free operation in any setting, along with the option to operate the LEDs in either 8 or 16 bit.
