The Audio Innovate Mini Innofader Pioneer DJM S3/S7/S9/S11 Crossfader (mini Innofader S3/S9) from DJDeals.com is a special mini Innofader Plus modded to work with the Pioneer DJM-S3/S7/S9/S11. DJM-S3 installation uses the Pioneer DJ Plate. For the DJM-S9, the main piece is modded plus there is an added adapter plate and two screws for mounting to the S9 mixer.
Also for the S9, as shown on the drawing, you will need to remove the channel faders to pull out the original crossfader. Also, the cable hookup is non-standard; you need to use the 3-pin small adapter cable. Make SURE you align the grey wire with the white wire from the Pioneer DJ crossfader cable.
***DO NOT USE THE 4 PIN SMALL ADAPTER CABLE. IT WILL NOT WORK!***
When you do the installation, you may notice that the dead space is a bit big. You will need to do the “left decrease lag” and “right decrease lag” adjustments as shown here.

In addition, the latency has been reduced from 2-5 msec to 1 msec or less using this same technology. Audio Innovate Mini Innofader Plus S9 Pioneer DJ Crossfader provides DJs with a truly customizable precision cut point that can go from a few millimeters, all the way down to a laser-sharp 0.1mm.
