The VAI-40 is an audio interface designed with simplicity for easy operation and enables multi channel recording via USB with high definition sound. This compact metal body audio interface is compatible with professional DAW and DJ application software, applicable to live setups on stage and is suitable for recording & saving vinyl to computers whilst monitoring.

Besides standard recording and playback functionality, VAI-40 provides everything that is needed for professional music production. In its compact case VAI-40 provides 4 analog input(2ch stereo) and 4 analog output channels(2ch stereo) with RCA connectors and a combined stereo headphone output. With support for ASIO 2.0, CoreAudio and MME / WDM, VAI-40 is compatible to all major music and DJ applications like Cubase, Logic, Sonar, Reason, Reaktor, MixVibes, Traktor DJ Studio, LIVE6, BPM Studio and much more.

This interface works with Windows and Mac systems and the support of ASIO2.0, MME/WDM and CoreAudio drivers.
- Equipped with Monaural 4in / Stereo 2out (Master out L, R, Monitor/ Booth out L, R), Headphone monitor output. The VAI-40 provides a high definition sound, thanks to the audio codec IC designed with a built-in hardware sample rate converter, delta-sigma conversion 20bit stereo D/A converter and 18bit stereo A/D converter.

- ESI(Ego systems Inc) designed ASIO driver applied for its proven high reliability. DAW application software and DJ application software work with the driver at a valiant low latency rate and high performance. (Windows will identify the VCM-100 as a 2in2out USB audio device when using the standard Windows WDM driver. Use the ASIO driver when using multi input/output with DTM application software.)
- The VAI-40 runs on USB bus power, allowing it to be compact, and the metal body is thin but highly durable, and convenient for transportation.
