WHAT DOES PCV MEAN ?
PCV Faders (Plastic Conductive Volume) up to now mainly were used in very high
class studio mixers. The big advantage is a duration of (tested) 2 million
passes without audible loss of quality whereas Standard high class faders
die after about 100.000 passes.
The Vestax CF-PCV is considerably smoother than any other brand and has a tested lifespan of more than one million cycles (or 2 million passes). This new fader has been judged by professional turntablists as the new industry standard.
