CHAUVET COLORdash BATTEN DMX LED WASH LIGHT
The COLORdash Batten is a 3,4,10, or 12-channel DMX-512 LED bank system (with ID addressing) that offers many of the same features included in CHAUVET’s COLORado Batten 80i fixture.
The mid-level COLORdash series is compatible with the professional-level COLORado in terms of DMX programming but is a smaller, more compact unit that costs significantly less. Designed for broad-base appeal, the COLORdash Batten offers features for multiple markets.
For production designers, the COLORdash Batten, which can be power linked to up to 13 units, can be used as a cyclorama, border or strip light and can easily accommodate custom applications due to its slim measurements -- 18.5 in x 3.3 in. x 7.5 in – (470mm x 84mm x 191mm). In addition, the unit is designed to operate with a 30-degree lens standard (15-degree lens available) that provides an even and saturated wash with the ability to adjust the color temperature between 3,200K and 8,500K when used as a strip light.
For smaller nightclub and mobile DJ applications, the COLORdash Batten offers automated programs that can be triggered by DMX or master/slave modes, with custom programs available in both modes as well. Additional features include an LCD display with password protection and a double-bracket yoke providing multiple mounting and floor-stand options.
Twenty-four high-power, 1-watt LEDs provide an output of 1,750 lux, with a beam angle of 35 by 30 degrees (field angle is 62 by 60 degrees). The COLORdash Batten weighs just 7.9 pounds (3.6kgs). It also comes with an interlocking bracket used to mount multiple fixtures together.

It works in 3-, 4-, 10-, and 12-channel DMX modes, but is also capable of RGB color mixing without the DMX controller. The COLORdash Batten has its own built-in automated programs, as well as the ability to recall custom programs via master/slave or DMX. It has twenty-four 1W LEDs (8 red, 8 green, 8 blue) and comes with brackets for connecting multiple units for even more coloration.
